Please allow 1-2 weeks to receive your order. After you place your order, we work behind the scenes with the seller to get your order to you as soon as possible. Once the package is scanned into the mail stream by USPS, go to My Purchases > Select the order to find tracking for that order.
The majority of Poshmark sellers ship their orders within a few days of purchase. There are times when the seller may be on vacation or face other circumstances that prevent them from shipping promptly. If the seller remains unresponsive and the order is not shipped within 7 days, buyers will be able to cancel the order on their end on the 8th day after purchasing. We recommend communicating with the seller for more information regarding shipping time by commenting directly on the listing you have purchased.

Form 1099-K is an informational form that can be used when preparing and filing your 2024 taxes. As required by the IRS, the Form 1099-K is based on gross sales. The IRS defines gross sales as the total amount buyers have paid before expenses are subtracted. Expenses may include cancellations, refunds, and any fees, such as Poshmark’s commission.
Poshmark is required to provide any seller with $5,000 or more in gross sales on our platform during the 2024 calendar year with a Form 1099-K.
Sellers who meet their residing state tax filing requirements in 2024 will also receive a Form 1099-K. This threshold requirement is in place for the following states:

Please note that not all sales reported on your Form 1099-K are subject to income tax, such as secondhand goods sold at a price less than originally purchased.
Our postal service can take some time to scan packages into their mail stream and update the tracking information. We ask that you allow 48 business hours from the time the package was dropped off at your local post office or mail box for the tracking information to update.
We recommend that you ask for a receipt from your post office when dropping off your order as proof of shipment.

How can I stay updated on any shipping delays?

How can I check if my order has been impacted by delays?
Your order may be impacted if tracking for the order shows, “In Transit, Arriving Late.”
If there has never been any tracking information for your purchase, we kindly ask you to wait up to 7 days from the date of purchase as we offer sellers this window of time to ship your order with USPS. As soon as tracking for your order begins, we will provide you with an update. You can learn more about delayed orders here.

I haven’t received any new tracking updates for my order, what can I do?
In the event that tracking stops and there are no additional updates 10 days from the last tracking update, please contact Poshmark Support. Rest assured, we have a solution in place in the event that there are no further tracking updates.
In most cases, tracking may stop for a few days due to a minor delay, but will typically continue to update as the package is en route to its destination.
Why is there no tracking information for my sale?
USPS can take some time to scan packages into their mail stream and update the tracking information. We ask that you allow 5 business days from the time the package was dropped off at your local post office or mail box for the tracking information to update.

As a seller, will this hurt my average ship time?
A seller’s average ship time is the amount of time it takes our sellers to drop off an item with USPS. As long as the package is scanned by USPS at the time of drop-off, your average ship time should not be impacted.
When your item sells, we send you a prepaid, pre-addressed shipping label to your email address linked to your Poshmark account. Please ensure you use our shipping label to ship out your order to avoid any delay in receiving your earnings, as each label has a tracking number connected with the order for us to track on our end.
Most of our sellers ship within 2 days of purchase. If you are unable to ship within 2-3 days of the order date, we recommend requesting a new shipping label to avoid any problems with USPS shipping.

You can cancel an unshipped order placed through Buy Now within 3 hours of the order being placed.
To cancel an accidental purchase:
The tax Form 1099-K for 2024 is now available to download for sellers who meet the updated IRS threshold requirements. We will also share a copy with the IRS and your state’s tax authority, if applicable. Your Form 1099-K will only include income as calculated by gross sales (including fees, refunds, and cancelled orders) on the Poshmark platform.
The IRS recently issued guidance delaying the implementation of the new $600 gross sales reporting threshold by another year. For the 2024 tax year, Poshmark is required to provide any seller with $5,000 or more in gross sales on our platform during the 2024 calendar year with a Form 1099-K.

If your package is over 5 pounds, you will need to generate a new shipping label. Per the table below, labels for packages over 5 pounds will incur a label upgrade fee, which will be deducted from the seller’s earnings/ credits.

Generate Multiple Shipping Labels for Bundles
For large or heavy bundle orders, Posh Show hosts may split up the bundled items and generate multiple shipping labels to ship their order.

Once the items are shipped, the buyer and seller will be able to view the tracking information for each package on the Order Page.
The total maximum weight our labels support is 10 lbs. Please do not list anything over 10 lbs. |
Our fees are very simple and straightforward. For all sales under $15, Poshmark takes a flat commission of $2.95. You keep the rest. For sales of $15 or more, you keep 80% of your sale and Poshmark's commission is 20%. Learn more about our Fee Policy here.
Once your sale has been delivered and received by your buyer, the earnings from your sale are yours. You can spend your earnings within the app or withdraw your money as cash whenever you like.
We at Poshmark like simplicity. We handle the financial transaction for you (including paying card processing fees), provide you with a prepaid, pre-addressed shipping label, and we will serve as your customer support team for your sale. In other words, we provide a simple end-to-end platform for selling!
After the buyer receives the item, we release the money to your Poshmark account within 3 days of delivery. You can withdraw the money via Instant Transfer, PayPal, Venmo, direct deposit to your bank account or request a check.

Users are able to self-delete their account when logged in to Poshmark in the app or on the web. Please note that we cannot process any deletion requests that are submitted through a written request to Poshmark Support.
To delete your account, please ensure that you do not have any pending transactions, redeemable balances, or gift cards with an available balance left in your account as the deletion process cannot be completed. |

When a listing is created or edited on Poshmark, it passes through the various systems we have in place to monitor for potential violations of our Community Guidelines and Prohibited Items Policy. These systems are designed to protect our Poshmark community, improve the overall shopping experience for our users, and maintain the integrity of our platform.
If a listing is under review, buyers cannot view or purchase the listing. Most listing reviews are completed within 1 hour but may take longer in some instances. You may edit or delete a listing at any time during this process.
Listings in review will auto-publish after 24 hours. If your listing has not been published after this time, please contact Poshmark Support. |
Once the review is successfully completed, your listing will be published and become available to buyers. If the review cannot be completed, you will receive an email containing more information on next steps.

The CVV code is used to verify that you have the physical card in your possession and helps reduce the risk of debit or credit card fraud. For most debit or credit cards, the CVV code is a 3-digit number on the back of the card, usually next to the signature panel.

A return request can typically take our team 1-2 business days to process. Please note that the length of time to review a case can vary depending on the proof we have on hand, as well as the response time it takes for a buyer or a seller to get back to us.
Once a case has been submitted, Poshmark will work with both parties to facilitate the return. In order to speed up the process, we ask that both parties provide clear evidence of their claim. Aside from full pictures of the item received, the evidence we typically ask for includes, but is not limited to:
When we have proof that the item was misrepresented, we will send the buyer a prepaid return label and have them ship the item back to the seller. Once the order is delivered back to the seller, we will begin to process the buyer’s refund for he full amount they paid, including shipping and taxes that were charged for the purchase.
