The Ambu Intubation Trainer is the perfect teaching tool for airway management and intubation techniques. Suitable for use with Laryngoscopes, Airways, Endotracheal Tubes, Laryngeal Mask Airway, Combitube and other known auxiliary aids & devices.
Suitable tube sizes for training:
The Ambu Intubation Trainer is designed to train all modern airway management techniques as well as the placement of tubes and laryngeal masks.
This makes it possible to train for the placement of Orotracheal tubes, Laryngeal Masks, Combitube, Nasotracheal tubes, Nasopharyngeal tubes, Endotracheal tubes and Guedel airways.
The left side of the head is open, permitting supervision of the student's performance. The walls of the pharynx and trachea are transparent, enabling the student to visually follow the tube down the throat.
Highly realistic and accurate simulation of the mouth, nostrils, teeth, tongue, pharynx, larynx, epiglottis, vocal cords, trachea, oesophagus and lung.
Movement of the head, cervical spine jaw simulates relevant anatomical changes during intubation, with the lifting and tilting of the head providing realistic movement.
Acoustic signals are triggered by excess pressure on the teeth by the laryngoscope or when ventilating with a tracheal tube placed incorrectly in the oesophagus. This helps the student to correct mistakes - in real time.
If desired, signal sensitivity can be adjusted. Intubation difficulty can be adjusted so that different patient types can be simulated.
